Two clients per offer across five offers adds up to $20,000 in setup fees and about $3,700 a month in recurring revenue. All five run on Claude Code repos that cost you almost nothing.

I’m Charles J Dove, I run Charlie Automates, and the payments I show in this walkthrough are live ones on my processor. I get paid to build these custom AI solutions and to teach them. Here are the 5 Claude Code repos that make money, what to sell with each, and who buys.

Are You Selling a Repo or an Outcome?

You sell an outcome. I’m not selling these repos. Based on my prospect’s problem, I prescribe an outcome, then pick the repo that delivers it.

The flow is three steps:

  1. Find your prospect’s problem.
  2. Market the outcome.
  3. Use a lead tool to find the people who’d buy.

You don’t need to be technical. You need a computer, Wi-Fi and Claude Code.

How Do You Find Buyers for AI Services?

I use Treg with Claude Code. It’s replacing Apollo and Hunter for me, so I’m not stacking monthly subscriptions. Lead scraping and enrichment is pay-per-lead and extremely affordable. Apify is another option, and I covered that in my Apollo-style lead gen with Claude and Apify post.

My criteria for Claude:

  • Companies with 10 to 200 employees in restoration, construction, logistics or clinics
  • Target titles: owners, chief operating officers, operations managers
  • Enrich each lead by searching its tech stack, and keep anyone paying for 5 or more separate tools

Then you offer a 30-minute to 1-hour consultation call to triage their bottlenecks.

Why Sell on the Call, Not in the Email?

In 9 out of 10 cases, don’t sell before a call. No trust is built, so the odds are low, and you don’t know all their problems. On the call you build rapport, count the cost of the problem with them live, and pivot the offer. The outcome you market gets the call. The call gets the sale.

Repo 1: What Is Reverse Engineer Anything (REA)?

REA is an MCP server you point at any application or website so Claude can reverse engineer how it was built. A team called ArtCraft used it to turn the entire Adobe studio suite into open-source apps. I wrote a full walkthrough in how to reverse engineer an app with Claude Code.

  • Offer: a fully custom application the client owns
  • Price: $5,000 to $10,000 or more per build, plus a monthly retainer of about 10% of the project cost ($500 a month on a $5K build, $1,000 on a $10K build)
  • Your cost: your Claude Code plan plus about $20 a month of hosting
  • Sell to: companies on antiquated software, using 10 tools in 10 places with data in 20 sources

This is number one on my list because it makes the most money and is the most universal offer.

Repo 2: How Do HyperFrames and Hypit Edit Video Hands-Free?

HyperFrames and Hypit work together for fully hands-free, AI-powered video editing. Earlier this year it wasn’t as good. It is now. Claude writes code to create motion graphics, and Hypit lets Claude review a video and turn it into a template.

Here’s the flow if a real estate prospect sends you a finished video and asks if you can match it:

  1. Give the video to Claude Code with Hypit and build a template.
  2. Ask the client for a raw video file.
  3. Have Claude use HyperFrames to render a video from the template.
  • Offer: an automatic video editing system, so they don’t hire an editor
  • Price: a one-time system sale, or a $497 monthly subscription for 10 edited videos
  • Your cost: nothing beyond your Claude Code plan, since both repos are free
  • Sell to: wedding videographers, real estate professionals, car dealerships

Sell two systems and that’s $10,000. Ten subscribers at $497 is about $5,000 a month. I also break down how Claude Code replaced my video editor.

Repo 3: What Is Chatwoot Good For?

Chatwoot brings SMS, email and social media chat channels into one dashboard. The outcome is one source of truth for communication and faster speed to lead.

  • Price: $1,000 setup per client and $150 a month, which covers 5 seats, hosting and updates
  • Add-ons: $50 a month for 5 extra seats, $19 a month for Chatwoot’s AI agents
  • Your cost: $20 a month per server per client, so the margins are great
  • Sell to: law offices, dental practices, med spas, dealerships and home services with 20 or more staff

Repo 4: How Do You Sell a Competitor Intel Feed With Firecrawl?

Firecrawl turns any website into clean data that AI can read. You build a competitor intel feed that shows what competitors charge and what their pages and hires look like, delivered to a dashboard, Slack or email. When a competitor changes their pricing or offer, your client knows first.

  • Price: $249 a month, with an optional $500 one-time setup
  • Your cost: about $60 a month, and there’s a generous free plan to show prospects something up front
  • Sell to: agencies, software companies, franchises, dealerships, med spas and law firms with a marketing team

With 10 clients, you’re looking at a few hours of management a month.

Repo 5: Can You Sell a Done-for-You Lead Engine With Treg?

Yes. Treg isn’t strictly a repo, but the same system I use to find my leads can be sold as a done-for-you lead engine with email campaign management.

  • Price: about $1,000 setup and $700 a month for management
  • Your cost: roughly $10 to $20 a month in leads
  • Client covers: the email tools, like Instantly, which gives you warmed-up email domains. I’d use it at a client level. For yourself just starting, Gmail works.
  • Sell to: local businesses that need leads, such as home services, agencies, med spas, law firms and B2B services

Which Offer Should You Start With?

Start with REA if you want to make the most money. If you’re creative and have video experience, start with the video system. Treat each as a test angle: send one email campaign per offer, review which language got opens, clicks and booked calls, and ask Claude to review the analytics for you.

Your homework: set up Treg inside Claude Code, pick one offer and one ideal prospect, ask Claude for 100 leads, send 100 emails, and book a call with a proposal already in mind.

Key Takeaways

  • Sell outcomes, not repos. The repo is just the tool behind the offer.
  • REA pays the most: $5,000 to $10,000 or more per build plus about 10% a month.
  • Video editing: $497 a month for 10 videos, with a free toolchain.
  • Chatwoot: $1,000 setup and $150 a month per client, against a $20 server cost.
  • Firecrawl intel feed: $249 a month against about $60 in costs.
  • Treg lead engine: about $1,000 setup and $700 a month.
  • Sell on the call. Marketing gets the call, the call gets the sale.
  • Two clients per offer is about $20,000 in setups and $3,700 a month.

FAQ

What are the best Claude Code repos for making money? The five I sell are Reverse Engineer Anything (custom apps), HyperFrames with Hypit (video editing), Chatwoot (unified inbox), Firecrawl (competitor intel feeds) and Treg (done-for-you lead generation).

How much can you charge for a Claude Code app build? I charge $5,000 to $10,000 or more per build, plus a monthly retainer of about 10% of the project cost to host, maintain and update it.

Do I need to be technical to sell these services? No. You need a computer, Wi-Fi and Claude Code. The skill that matters is diagnosing the prospect’s problem on a call.

Why not sell before the call? In 9 out of 10 cases, no trust is built yet, so the chance of a sale is low. You also don’t know their other problems. On the call you build rapport, count the cost of the problem live, and adjust the offer.

What does it cost to run these services? Mostly your Claude Code plan. Hosting runs about $20 a month for custom apps and Chatwoot, about $60 a month for Firecrawl, and $10 to $20 a month in leads for the Treg engine.
